  • Poultry seasoning – 1 teaspoon

Step 1: Prepare the Flavor Base

  1. Heat butter in a small pan over medium heat.

  2. Add onion and celery.

  3. Cook 4–5 minutes until soft.

  4. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.

  5. Remove from heat and cool slightly.


Step 2: Make the Mixture

  1. In a large bowl, add ground turkey.

  2. Add breadcrumbs or stuffing mix.

  3. Add cooked onion–celery mixture.

  4. Add egg, parsley, sage, thyme, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.

  5. Gradually add broth until mixture is moist but holds shape.

  6. Mix gently (do not overmix).


Step 3: Shape the Balls

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).

  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  3. Scoop about 1½ tablespoons mixture per ball.

  4. Roll into smooth balls and place on tray.


Step 4: Bake

  1. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes.

  2. Turn once halfway for even browning.

  3. Balls should be golden and cooked through (74°C / 165°F internal temp).
