Here’s a crispy, juicy Air Fryer Chicken Tenders recipe that comes out golden every time 🍗✨


🍗 Air Fryer Chicken Tenders

⏱ Time

  • Prep: 10 minutes
  • Cook: 12–15 minutes
  • Total: 22–25 minutes

🍽 Serves

  • 3–4

🧾 Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken tenders (or chicken breast cut into strips)
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour (or almond flour for low-carb)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Chicken

  • Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
  • Season lightly with salt and pepper.

2️⃣ Set Up Breading Station

  • Bowl 1: Flour + paprika + garlic + onion powder + salt + pepper
  • Bowl 2: Beaten eggs
  • Bowl 3: Breadcrumbs

Steps:

  1. Coat each tender in flour mixture.
  2. Dip in beaten eggs.
  3. Press into breadcrumbs to coat evenly.

3️⃣ Preheat Air Fryer

  • Preheat to 200°C (400°F) for 3–5 minutes.

4️⃣ Air Fry

  • Spray tenders lightly with olive oil or cooking spray.
  • Place in air fryer basket in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
  • Cook 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
  • Internal temperature: 74°C / 165°F

5️⃣ Serve

  • Serve hot with ketchup, honey mustard, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce.

🌟 Tips

  • For extra crunch, double coat: flour → egg → breadcrumbs → egg → breadcrumbs.
  • You can season breadcrumbs with parmesan or chili powder for flavor variations.
  • Leftovers store in the fridge for 2–3 days; reheat in the air fryer to keep crisp.
