🧺 Ingredients

  • Fresh strawberries – 2 cups (washed & hulled)

  • Plain yogurt (full-fat or Greek) – 2 cups

  • Honey or sugar – ΒΌ cup (adjust to taste)

  • Vanilla essence – 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh cream or whipped cream – Β½ cup (optional but recommended)

  • Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon (optional, for freshness)

  • Crushed biscuits or granola – Β½ cup (optional, for layering)

Step 1: Prepare the Strawberries

  1. Cut strawberries into small pieces.

  2. Add 2 tablespoons sugar or honey and lemon juice.

  3. Mash lightly with a fork (keep some texture).

  4. Set aside for 5–10 minutes to release juices.


Step 2: Make the Yogurt Mixture

  1. In a bowl, add yogurt.

  2. Whisk until smooth and creamy.

  3. Add remaining sugar or honey and vanilla essence.

  4. Mix well until fully combined.


Step 3: Add Cream (Optional but Creamy!)

  1. Gently fold fresh cream or whipped cream into the yogurt.

  2. Mix slowly to keep the mixture light and fluffy.


Step 4: Assemble the Dessert

  1. In serving glasses or a dish:

    • First layer: crushed biscuits or granola (optional)

    • Second layer: yogurt mixture

    • Third layer: strawberry mixture

  2. Repeat layers until the glass is full.

  3. Top with fresh strawberry slices.


Step 5: Chill & Serve

  1. Cover and refrigerate for 1–2 hours.

  2. Serve chilled for best taste and texture.


🌟 Tips for Best Taste

  • Use Greek yogurt for thicker texture.

  • For kids, skip lemon juice.

  • For diet version, use honey or stevia.

  • Can be frozen for 30 minutes for an ice-cream-like texture.
