🛒 Ingredients

For the Ribs

  • 2–2½ lb beef ribs or pork ribs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder (optional)
  • 2 tbsp oil

For the Sticky Honey Garlic Sauce

  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water

👩‍🍳 Directions

Step 1: Prep the Ribs

  1. Remove the membrane from the back of ribs.
  2. Rub ribs with oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder.
  3. Rest for 20–30 minutes.

Step 2: Bake Until Tender

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Wrap ribs tightly in foil.
  3. Bake for 2–2½ hours until tender.

Step 3: Make the Honey Garlic Sauce

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté garlic lightly.
  2. Add honey, soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil, and chili flakes.
  3. Simmer 3–5 minutes.
  4. Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thick and glossy.

Step 4: Glaze & Finish

  1. Unwrap ribs and place on a baking tray.
  2. Brush generously with honey garlic sauce.
  3. Broil (grill) for 5–8 minutes, brushing more sauce until sticky and caramelized.
