Hereβs a quick & easy plain pineapple cake recipe π
(No frosting, simple ingredients)
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup crushed pineapple (with juice)
- Β½ cup sugar
- ΒΌ cup oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Β½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- Pinch of salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 170Β°C (340Β°F). Grease a cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix crushed pineapple + sugar + oil + vanilla.
- Sift in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix gently until smooth (donβt overmix).
- Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30β35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pan.
Tips
- You can add chopped pineapple on top before baking.
- For extra softness, add 2 tbsp milk if batter feels thick.
- Serve plain or dust with powdered sugar.
