  • 1 teaspoon salt

For the Chicken

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup cooking cream or fresh cream

  • ½ cup milk

  • ½ cup chicken broth (or water)

  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (or any hard cheese)

  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (adjust to taste)

Vegetables

  • 1½ cups broccoli florets (cut small)

Step-by-Step Directions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add salt and pasta.
Cook according to package instructions until al dente.
In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add broccoli florets to the same pot.
Drain pasta and broccoli together and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add chicken pieces, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is fully cooked and lightly golden.
Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.

Step 3: Prepare the Creamy Sauce

In the same pan, add butter and let it melt.
Add chopped onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until soft.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes.
Add cream and milk, stirring continuously.
Lower the heat and let the sauce simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.

Step 4: Add Cheese and Seasoning

Stir in grated parmesan cheese, oregano, and black pepper.
Mix until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly.
Taste and adjust salt if needed.

Step 5: Combine Everything

Add cooked chicken back into the sauce.
Add drained pasta and broccoli.
Toss gently until everything is evenly coated with the creamy sauce.
Cook for 2 more minutes on low heat.

Step 6: Serve

Remove from heat and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
Serve hot with extra grated cheese if desired.
