🥘 Honey Butter Skillet Corn – Full Recipe

✅ Ingredients:

  • 4 cups frozen sweet corn (you can also use fresh or canned corn, drained)

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 2 ounces cream cheese (about 1/4 cup), softened and cut into chunks

  • Salt, to taste (about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon)

  • Black pepper, to taste (optional)

  • Chopped parsley or chives for garnish (optional)

🔥 Directions:

  1. Prepare the Corn:

    • If using frozen corn, rinse briefly under cold water in a colander to slightly thaw.

    • If using fresh corn, cut kernels off the cob.

    • If using canned corn, drain thoroughly.

  2. Heat the Skillet:

    • In a large non-stick skillet or cast iron pan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  3. Cook the Corn:

    • Add the corn to the skillet.

    • Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until corn is heated through and starts to lightly brown in spots.

  4. Add Honey and Cream Cheese:

    • Stir in the honey and cream cheese.

    • Mix continuously until the cream cheese is fully melted and coats the corn evenly – about 2-3 minutes.

  5. Season:

    • Add salt and black pepper to taste.

    • Stir well.

  6. Serve:

    • Remove from heat.

    • Garnish with parsley or chives, if using.
