🥩 Air Fryer Salisbury Steak Patties

🧾 Ingredients

For the Patties

  • 500 g ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped or grated
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the Gravy

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Patties

  • In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Form into 4 even patties.

2️⃣ Preheat Air Fryer

  • Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F) for 3–5 minutes.

3️⃣ Cook Patties

  • Place patties in a single layer in the basket.
  • Cook 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until internal temperature reaches 71°C / 160°F.

4️⃣ Make the Gravy

  • While patties cook, melt butter in a small pan.
  • Whisk in flour and cook 1–2 minutes to form a roux.
  • Gradually add beef broth while whisking until smooth.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer 3–5 minutes until thickened.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Pour gravy over the cooked Salisbury steak patties.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or roasted carrots.

🌟 Tips

  • Use 80/20 ground beef for the juiciest patties.
  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer for even cooking.
  • Add mushrooms or caramelized onions to the gravy for extra flavor.
  • Patties can be made ahead and refrigerated; reheat in the air fryer for 3–5 minutes.
