🥩 Juicy Steak with Creamy Garlic Sauce

🧾 Ingredients

For the Steak

  • 2 steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or your favorite cut, 200–250 g each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Steak

  • Pat steaks dry and season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Let sit 10 minutes at room temperature for even cooking.

2️⃣ Cook the Steak

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add steaks and sear 3–5 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust depending on thickness).
  • Remove steaks from pan and let rest on a plate, covered loosely with foil.

3️⃣ Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  • In the same pan, reduce heat to medium.
  • Add butter and sauté minced garlic 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Plate the steak and pour creamy garlic sauce over the top.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a side salad.

🌟 Tips

  • Rest the steak after cooking to keep it juicy.
  • For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine or Dijon mustard to the sauce.
  • Use a cast-iron skillet for the best sear.
  • Adjust garlic to taste for milder or stronger flavor.
