5-Minute Creamy Milk Custard (No Oven)

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk

  • 2 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)

  • 2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)

  • Β½ tsp vanilla essence

  • A pinch of salt

  • Optional topping: cinnamon powder or crushed biscuit

  1. In a bowl, mix cornflour with ΒΌ cup cold milk until smooth (no lumps).

  2. In a pan, add remaining milk + sugar + salt.

  3. Heat on medium flame, stirring constantly.

  4. Add the cornflour mixture slowly.

  5. Keep stirring for 2–3 minutes until thick and creamy.

  6. Turn off heat, add vanilla, mix well.

  7. Pour into bowls and rest 1 minute.
