Air Fryer Baked Potato

Here’s a perfect Air Fryer Baked Potato recipe—crispy skin on the outside, fluffy and tender inside, just like oven-baked but much faster 🌟


🥔 Air Fryer Baked Potato

⏱ Time

  • Prep: 5 minutes
  • Cook: 35–40 minutes

🍽 Serves

  • 2–4 potatoes

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2–4 large russet potatoes
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½–1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper (optional)

Optional Toppings

  • Butter
  • Sour cream or yogurt
  • Shredded cheese
  • Chopped green onions
  • Crispy bacon bits
  • Garlic butter or herbs

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Potatoes

  • Wash potatoes thoroughly and scrub off dirt.
  • Pat them completely dry.
  • Pierce each potato 3–4 times with a fork to release steam.

2️⃣ Season

  • Rub potatoes with olive oil on all sides.
  • Sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper.

3️⃣ Air Fry

  • Preheat air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes.
  • Place potatoes in the basket (do not overcrowd).
  • Cook for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Potatoes are done when a knife slides in easily.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Cut a slit on top, fluff the inside with a fork.
  • Add butter and your favorite toppings.

🔥 Extra Tips for Best Results

  • For extra crispy skin, brush with a little more oil during the last 5 minutes.
  • Larger potatoes may need 45 minutes.
  • Wrap in foil after cooking if you want softer skin.

🌱 Flavor Variations

  • Garlic Parmesan: Sprinkle garlic powder + parmesan after cooking
  • Spicy: Add chili powder or paprika before air frying
  • Herb Butter: Mix butter with parsley, garlic, and thyme
