Here’s a delicious Apple Crisp Cheesecake recipe—creamy cheesecake, tender spiced apples, and a crunchy cinnamon-oat topping 🍏🥧


🍏 Apple Crisp Cheesecake

🧾 Ingredients

🥧 Crust

  • Graham cracker crumbs – 1½ cups

  • Sugar – ¼ cup

  • Ground cinnamon – ½ teaspoon

  • Butter – 6 tablespoons, melted


🍎 Apple Topping

  • Apples – 3 cups, peeled and chopped (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)

  • Brown sugar – ½ cup

  • Ground cinnamon – 1 teaspoon

  • Nutmeg – ¼ teaspoon

  • Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon

  • Cornstarch – 1 tablespoon


🍰 Cheesecake Filling

  • Cream cheese – 450 g (16 oz), softened

  • Granulated sugar – 1 cup

  • Eggs – 2 large

  • Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon

  • Sour cream – ½ cup


🌾 Crisp Topping

  • Rolled oats – ½ cup

  • All-purpose flour – ½ cup

  • Brown sugar – ⅓ cup

  • Ground cinnamon – ½ teaspoon

  • Butter – 4 tablespoons, cold and cubed


👩‍🍳 Directions (Step-by-Step)

Step 1: Prepare the Crust

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C / 350°F.

  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.

  3. Stir in melted butter until evenly moistened.

  4. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.

  5. Bake 8–10 minutes, then cool.


Step 2: Prepare the Apple Topping

  1. In a medium bowl, combine chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch.

  2. Toss to coat evenly. Set aside.


Step 3: Make the Cheesecake Filling

  1. Beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

  2. Add granulated sugar and vanilla; beat until combined.

  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.

  4. Fold in sour cream until smooth.


Step 4: Assemble the Cheesecake

  1. Spread half of the cheesecake filling over cooled crust.

  2. Spoon half of the apple mixture on top.

  3. Spread remaining cheesecake filling over apples.

  4. Top with remaining apples.


Step 5: Prepare Crisp Topping

  1. In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

  2. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  3. Sprinkle evenly over apples.


Step 6: Bake

  • Bake at 175°C / 350°F for 50–55 minutes, until center is almost set (slightly jiggly).

  • Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.


Step 7: Serve

  • Slice with a warm knife for clean cuts.

  • Optional: drizzle with caramel sauce or dust with powdered sugar.

  • Let the cheesecake cool completely before chilling to prevent cracking.
