Crispy Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges

Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes, washed and cut into wedges
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1: Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Prepare Potato Wedges

  • Toss potato wedges with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Make sure each wedge is evenly coated.

Step 3: Bake

  • Arrange wedges in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Step 4: Add Parmesan

  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the wedges during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  • Bake until cheese melts and wedges are crispy.

Step 5: Serve

  • Garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve hot with ketchup, ranch, or garlic aioli.

Tips

  • Soak potato wedges in cold water for 20 minutes before baking for extra crispiness.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.
  • Can also cook in an air fryer at 400°F for 20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
