Posted on January 23, 2026 by Danish Kaleem

Here’s an easy Pizza Crackers recipe you can whip up fast—perfect for tea time, kids’ snacks, or party munching.

🍕 Pizza Crackers (Oven or Air Fryer)

⏱ Prep Time

10 minutes

🔥 Cook Time

8–12 minutes

🍽 Makes

About 4 servings

🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 packet plain crackers (salted or unsalted – Marie, water crackers, Ritz-style)

  • ½ cup pizza sauce or thick tomato ketchup

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated

  • ¼ cup cheddar cheese (optional, for extra flavor)

  • ½ tsp dried oregano

  • ½ tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • Optional toppings (finely chopped):

    • Capsicum

    • Onion

    • Olives

    • Sweet corn

    • Jalapeños

👩‍🍳 Step-by-Step Directions

Step 1: Preheat

  • Oven: Preheat to 180°C (350°F)

  • Air Fryer: Preheat to 180°C for 3 minutes

Step 2: Arrange Crackers

Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Place crackers in a single layer—don’t overlap.

Step 3: Add Sauce

Spread ½–1 teaspoon pizza sauce on each cracker.
Don’t overload, or crackers will turn soggy.

Step 4: Cheese Time

Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over each cracker.
Add a little cheddar if using.

Step 5: Season & Top

Sprinkle oregano, chili flakes, and black pepper.
Add very small amounts of your favorite toppings.

Step 6: Bake or Air Fry

  • Oven: Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese melts and edges turn golden

  • Air Fryer: Cook for 6–8 minutes, checking halfway

Step 7: Cool & Serve

Let them cool for 2–3 minutes—they crisp up more as they cool.
Serve warm and enjoy the crunch! 😋

🌟 Tips for Perfect Pizza Crackers

  • Use thick sauce, not watery

  • Finely chop toppings so they cook evenly

  • For extra crispiness, toast crackers lightly before topping

  • Store leftovers in an airtight box (reheat in air fryer)

🔥 Variations

  • Pepperoni Pizza Crackers: Add tiny pepperoni pieces

  • Cheese Burst: Mix cream cheese with mozzarella
