The Softest Cake in the World – Melts in Your Mouth

Description

An incredibly soft and moist chocolate cake that literally melts in your mouth. Perfect for any occasion and easy to make at home.

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs

  • A pinch of salt

  • 8 g vanilla sugar (or 1 teaspoon)

  • 100 ml milk

  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee

  • 180 g all-purpose flour

  • 20 g unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 15 g baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
    Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan or line it with parchment paper.

  2. Prepare Wet Ingredients

    • In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and vanilla sugar until fluffy.

    • Dissolve the instant coffee in warm milk and add it to the eggs. Mix well.

  3. Prepare Dry Ingredients

    • In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.

  4. Combine Ingredients

    • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Use a spatula and fold gently to keep the batter airy.

  5. Bake

    • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.

    • Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  6. Cool and Serve

    • Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

    • Serve as is or dust with powdered sugar, cocoa, or your favorite frosting.


Tips

  • For an extra soft texture, avoid overmixing the batter.

  • You can add a chocolate glaze or whipped cream on top for added indulgence.

  • Instant coffee enhances the chocolate flavor but can be omitted if desired.
